Suluada (literally "watery island" in Turkish) is a small, uninhabited island located in the Kumluca district of Antalya province, near the coastal villages of Adrasan and Olympos. It sits approximately 3–4 nautical miles offshore, entirely within the boundaries of the Olympos Beydağları National Park — which means it has no settlement, no hotel, no café, and no development of any kind. What it does have is some of the most extraordinary water in the entire Mediterranean.
The island's unique turquoise colour comes from the shallow sandy seabed surrounding it: in some spots the water is just 2–3 metres deep, completely transparent. Underwater, you'll find sea turtles, octopus, sea bream and, if you're lucky, a monk seal in the quieter coves.
Suluada can only be reached by boat — there is no road, no bridge and no ferry service. The standard route from Antalya is:
